The Dot Den is a personal games page — built to collect the small, sharp, two-minute games worth coming back to. Seven are live so far: the boxes-and-lines classic Dots and Boxes, its stranger cousin Dots, where you fence in the other player's own dots, the drop-and-line classic Connect Four, the flanking-capture classic Reversi, a cube-sized 3D Tic-Tac-Toe, Floodlight Cup, a fast 3D football match under the lights, and Veyl Holdfast, a single-player base-defense strategy game. The first six play hot-seat, against the computer, or online against someone in another location.
Games
7 playable · 1 in the worksDots & Boxes
Draw a line, claim a box, go again. Play a friend on one screen, the computer, or someone online.
Dots
Place a dot each turn. Close a loop of your own color around one of theirs and it's captured — most captures when the board fills wins.
Connect Four
Drop discs, build the line, don't let them see it coming until it's too late. Same three ways to play as the others.
Memory Match
Flip two, find the pair, keep the streak alive. A quiet little test of recall.
Reversi
Sandwich their discs between two of yours and they flip to your side. Whoever owns more of the board when it fills wins.
3D Tic-Tac-Toe
Four layers, four in a row to win — across a layer, straight up through them, or on a slanted line through the whole cube.
Floodlight Cup
Fast 3D football under the lights. Take on the computer, a friend on the same keyboard, or someone online — phone to phone.
Veyl Holdfast
Build a base, drill glass and hold off raider waves in a desert strategy game. Your whole base carries over to six ever-bigger maps, ending in an assault on the enemy's lair.
Training
1 planSilverun
An 8-week running plan to 2 km under 10:00. Open it each morning for today’s checklist, a guided timer, and a log of times and achievements.
Dots & Boxes
Click a line to draw it. Complete a box's fourth side and it's yours — and you go again.
Dots
Place a dot on any empty point. Fully surround one or more of your opponent's live dots with an unbroken loop of your own color and you capture them.
Connect Four
Click a column to drop a disc. First to line up four — across, up-down, or on a diagonal — wins.
Reversi
Place a disc so it sandwiches a line of the opponent's discs between yours — every disc in that line flips to your color. Most discs when the board is full wins.
3D Tic-Tac-Toe
Four 4×4 layers stacked into a cube. Get four of your own in a row — within a layer, straight through all four layers, or on a diagonal that cuts through the whole cube — to win.
